The Director of Physiomoves, is a qualified Physiotherapist with many years of clinical experience (more than she is game to admit!). She started teaching fitness classes while in the second year of her physiotherapy studies. This "job on the side" ignited such a spark of interest that she is still teaching people how to move, many years later. The Jane Fonda days are long gone and she (begrudgingly) gave away those fluoro leotards and legwarmers but her passion for teaching movement is very much alive.
She loves to help people increase their body awareness, improve their movement patterns and to empower them to help themselves.
Kath’s dedication and determination to help each individual is paramount and this enables her clients to experience a deeper understanding of the essence of pilates and its functional integration into their everyday lives. Her attention to detail and sense fun combine to create a unique and life changing experience every session.
Kath also loves “teaching the teachers” and has presented lectures at many conferences to both fitness leaders and physiotherapists.
Kath has been a national trainer for Fitball and is now involved in the teaching of the Polestar Pilates program.
Outside the studio, Kath enjoys yoga, meditation, running and spending time with the family.
